Bertrand Piccard:
Swiss balloonist, psychiatrist, explorer, innovator and Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation – along with Brian Jones, he was the first to complete a non-stop balloon flight around the globe.
During the Media Future Day 2017 in Zurich, I had the great pleasure to talk to Bertrand Piccard about his thoughts on Courage. Bertrand Piccard is a visionary, a man of courage who wants to improve our world through brave actions and initiatives.
According to Bertrand Piccard „In the last century, it was about conquering territories, conquering the moon. Today it’s about conquering quality of life on this planet. This means that we are all explorers, we are all adventurers.“
I feel very honoured to share Bertrand’s thoughts on Courage on this newly launched platform. A platform with the aim to make our professional world a better and more positive world. I must admit it took me a bit of courage to ask him to share his thoughts about courage with me.
